Fantastic cruise, amazing time! Absolutely amazing. We had the best afternoon with the beachcombers. We saw the pelicans feed, then we were set up on the beach of wave break island with a fruit, cheese and cracker platter which was out of this world delicious. We were even lucky enough to see some dolphins from aboard. This has been the highlight of our honeymoon so far! 
Thanks for a wonderful experience My 3 kids and I had an amazing day out. Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere, snacks, drinks and blankets provided. We were able to relax as we cruised through the water. We saw dolphins and learnt all about the amazing houses along the way. At south Stradbroke island we walked to the beach where we searched for shells and relaxed. Followed by lunch, fishing on the way back and then stopped to see the pelicans I can’t recommend beachcombers charters enough. Wonderful experience 😊
Don't think twice, just book! We spent a really beautiful winter afternoon on the water with Amanda and Andreas who are such informative and friendly hosts. We dropped in at Charis to watch the wild pelicans being feed en route to Tipplers. The best thing about this tour is that it's leisurely and is quite flexible to explore places, drop a line in, walk across Straddie to the ocean side ...whatever you want to do, Andreas and Amanda will do their utmost to accommodate you! Straddle is only accessible by boat, so its almost like you get to see the secret spots on the Goldie that not many get to experience. The beach on the oceanside is just a 10 minute walk across the island and is beautiful, wild and nobody to be seen for miles! Definitely my favourite!! We also enjoyed lunch under the trees at Tipplers to celebrate two birthdays in our group. Just on a practical level, on the trip home when the temps dipped, the boat's clear screens got dropped down to keep the wind out, so its weather proof too! All up this was such a memorable afternoon spent with good friends on Beachcomber and everyone had their favourite bit. It felt like a mini-vaca 🥰 
Brilliant afternoon on the water in winter Thanks Amanda and Andreas for a fantastic afternoon on the water. We absolutely loved the experience! The amount of time out was a perfect mix of time on the boat and the opportunity to explore North Straddie. The extra detours to see the pelicans and other birds was great!

fabulous Had a great afternoon. Skipper Andreas and Amanda were wonderful hosts and really helped make my birthday special. Even fitted in a short fish up at the island and landed a serious flathead. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Perfect fishing trip My 12-year-old son loves fishing and this was a dream come true for him. We caught so many different species and Andreas was the perfect host.
