A perfect family adventure! Our Private Fishing Charter is a fantastic way for kids to learn how to fish in a safe and enjoyable environment. ‘Beachcomber’ offers plenty of space to move around, a full roof for sun protection, drop-down clears for rainy days, and even an onboard toilet for your comfort. If the tide is right, we can take the kids yabby pumping for fresh bait—a highlight for little ones!
Looking to celebrate a special occasion? We offer catering options to make your day even more special. And when the offshore conditions are just right (swell less than 1.5m), ‘Beachcomber’ can take you on an adventure to catch offshore reef species like Snapper, Mahi Mahi, and Mackerel!

We offer both Private and Shared Broadwater Fishing Charters. For a Shared Charter, we need a minimum of 4 guests to set sail.
We’ve got you covered with a selection of top-notch fishing rods to help you try out different techniques and reel in a catch on the beautiful Gold Coast’s Broadwater.
When we head out on our fishing adventures, we focus on the calm, sheltered waters of the Gold Coast’s Broadwater and Southern Moreton Bay. We use only quality gear from trusted brands like Sumaki, EcoGear, Z-man, Zerek, and Lively Lures. Depending on the day, we’ll use a mix of lures, soft plastics, vibes, and bait to maximize your chances of success. If the tide’s just right, we can even pump fresh yabbies for bait—kids and adults alike love this part!
Our Skipper, Andreas, who also happens to be a talented chef, will happily fillet any dinner-worthy catches you decide to keep. Plus, he’ll share some expert tips on how to cook your ‘catch of the day’ to perfection!

Thankfully, we’ve made it out the other side with just a popped fender and a few scuff marks on Beachcomber—could have been much worse! Very relieved 😮💨.
