Fishing Charters on 'Beachcomber'
Let our Skipper & deckhand take you on a Private Fishing Charter of the Gold Coast’s Broadwater – aboard ‘Beachcomber’ so that you have a whole boat to yourself for up to 8 people.
Fishing the Broadwater is a Calm Water adventure where we go in search of estuary fish species, targeting fish such as Flathead, Bream, Tuskfish, Whiting and others using a variety of proven techniques. This is your chance to try techniques such as ‘lure fishing’ if you have never done this!
Perfect family fishing adventure! The Private Fishing Charter is a great opportunity for children to learn how to fish. ‘Beachcomber’ is a very comfortable boat that provides ample space to move around, and we even have a toilet on board for the comfort of our guests. If the tide allows we can take our guests yabby pumping for fresh bait – kids love this!
When conditions offshore are suitable (swell less than 1.5m) Beachcomber can be your boat to take you in search of offshore reef species such as Snapper, Mahi Mahi and Mackeral!
Enjoy a day out fishing with us – a great way for families and friends to get together. Book ‘Beachcomber’ for fishing fans to enjoy Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Team Building or any excuse to catch up!
We also have a SHARED Fishing Charter where Individuals can book a spot for fishing on the Broadwater at $150 per head. Minimum 4 guests to launch up to max of 8 guests
We supply a selection of good quality fishing rods to use so you can try a variety of techniques to catch a fish on the Gold Coast’s Broadwater.
For our days out fishing we target fish in the sheltered calm waters of the Gold Coast’s Broadwater, Southern Moreton Bay. We use quality gear in such brands as Sumaki, EcoGear, Z-man, Zerek & Lively Lures. On Beachcomber we use lures, soft plastics, vibes and bait dependent on what works best on the day – and if the tide allows we can pump and use fresh yabbies to use as well.
Our Skipper, Andreas (who is also a Chef), will fillet any dinner worthy catches on request, and will even give you tips on how best to cook your ‘catch of the day’!
We can head offshore on calm days to visit the whales before returning to lunch near Wavebreak Island as part of our ‘Day Out on the Water’ (for up to 12 guests).
